Special People
Julian Co produced and performed
a 'special' set for Mass Special Olympics 25th Anniversary at
the Boston's Hatch Shell. The performance includes appearances
from Livingston Taylor, Joan Kennedy and Jonathan Edwards.
This was the kickoff to World Games being held in Connecticut.
Julian has performed for opening and closing ceremonies coast
to coast since the release of Special People. Many national musicians
came together to give of their time and talent to create this
wonderful gift. Not to forget a little help and insight from
Rolling Stones producer, Jimmy Miller. He said:
"beautiful Julian,
just beautiful".

"The song "Changes" projects the
enthusiasm that drives the athletes to give their all in the
Special Olympics and to reach the goals in all aspects of their
lives," said Julian. According to national music critic
for "downbeat" and "Jazziz"
magazines, Frank-John Hadley, "Julian's music is
of great sincerity and undeniable warmth, which indeed makes
it special."
Ed Glebus, Director of Financial Development
for Massachusetts Special Olympics, feels that Julian's composition
will benefit Special Olympics in many ways. "We are very
optimistic about the success of this record. It's a wonderful
piece of music for people to enjoy, while being able to donate
to a great cause at the same time."
